We're in Greenville!

As I'm writing this, we are in the hotel... in Greenville. After travelling for more than 20hrs with 2 hrs of delay in paris, I'm thankful that we make it for the connection from houston to Greeenville.... it was so close, I ran all the way once i got down the plane and thru the immigration and custom check and re-check in with a very tired body and Matthew on the strolley. If not, we would have to stay a night at the houston airport!

Everything went on well... Matthew behaved well on the plane despite the lack of sleep.... he is indeed a good traveller! He didn't eat much and miss a meal and went ahead and sleep once we got to the hotel. I guess he is very tired!
Due to the jet lag, Matthew got up so early these 2 days, 6am yesterday (only slept for a mere 6hrs) and 5am today. He didn't take a nap yesterday... when we are having our dinner, he knock out and sleep thru the nite till 5 am today. It's so early, which I mean I'm really tired too.

A comment on facebook upset me today... I think someone think that I'm a braggart of my travels.... maybe I'm too sensitive but I think she refers to me. I'm not trying to boast abt my travel... I thought it's nice to update my statues, I didn't mean to offend anyone. Anyway, why should I be upsetted over such comment. Just relaxed and enjoyed the holiday with my family and friends!

I'm so excited to see my friends!

Toussaint Holiday!

School vacation starts on Friday for the Toussaint (All Saints Day) Holiday! We're making good use of it... making a trip to Greenville (SC) with daddy who is on his way there this morning! We will be leaving on Tuesday morning... very early.. it's going to be 6.40am flight which mean we need to get out of the house by 5.45am...a great challenge for me who is going to handle Matthew all by myself!

Today is also the day when we adjusted the time (day-light saving off)...it's kind of confusing for me still as we don't have such things in Singapore and the countries we had been living before! And furthermore, we need to go through another round when we get to US as it's different day in the states!

Anyway, I'm getting myself ready for the trip.. hopefully everything will turn out well. I'm pretty excited to be able to see my friends in Greenville... those that I knew from Clermont and Shenyang! Friends... here we come!

Going to Greenville

Finally, darling is back from Thailand. We have decided to make a trip to Greenville since he is going there on biz trip for 2 weeks. I have a hard time during the past 2 weeks while he was in Thailand. Matthew had been asking for Daddy and he misses him so much. Since I was down with cold, I didn't really pay attention to his needs which make him feels neglected... i'm so sorry, Matthew!
